Tua Tagovailoa assumed the starting role for the 2018 season.It’s assumed that Hurts will be Oklahoma’s starter when the season begins, but head coach Lincoln Riley has yet to make it official.Regardless, it appears that Hurts is all-in on earning the role. The Sooners open with Houston on September 1.
