BSFIndia’s Border Security Force aka BSF on Tuesday shot dead two Bangladeshis along Khosalpur border in Mohespur upazila of Jhenaidah and picked up two others along Hapania border in Naogaon, reports UNB.The deceased were identified as Harun, 25, son of Kawser Ali of Shyamkur village in Mohespur upazila, and Sohel Tarafdar, 20, son of Shahidul Tarafdar of Khoshalpur village in the same upazila.Commanding officer of Moheshpur BGB Battalion-58 lieutenant colonel Zillur Rahman said the BSF troops of Kumari camp in India opened fire on a group of 10-12 Bangladeshi cattle traders around 11:00am when they went to the bordering area to bring cattle, leaving Harun and Sohel dead on the spot.However, other traders managed to flee.Later, the BSF members took away the bodies to their camp.The BGB authorities are taking preparation to hold a flag meeting with BSF over the matter, Zillur Rahman added.Besides, two Bangladeshi nationals were picked up by BSF members at Duarpal along Hapania border in Porsha upazila.The victims are: Mainul Islam, son of Ketab Ali and Manirul Islam, son of Abdul Mannan of Duarpal village in the upazila.Nayek Subedar Abdur Razzak, commander of Hapania Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) camp, said the BSF members of Adaripara camp chased some Bangladeshi cattle traders near border pillar no 232 while returning to the country with cattle in the dead of night.At one stage, the BSF members picked up the two Bangladeshi nationals while the others managed to flee the scene.Later, they were handed over to Habipur police in India.
Kolkata: The Mamata Banerjee government is all set to bring Tarapith and Purulia on its helicopter connectivity map soon.Suvendu Adhikari, the state Transport department minister, in the state Assembly on Wednesday said the state government is soon going to introduce helicopter service from Kolkata to Tarapith and Purulia.It may be mentioned that Tarapith is a temple town in Birbhum where thousands of devotees turn up every day and the state government has taken several steps to improve the infrastructure at Tarapith. Roads connecting the place have been strengthened and widened.Now, the initiative has been taken to introduce helicopter service so that people reach Tarapith in far less time.Similarly, Purulia has also become one of the major tourist spots with the development of necessary infrastructure.In the past seven years, the Mamata Banerjee government has taken several steps for the development of Purulia. Now, people visit the place almost round the year except a few months during summer. But helicopters operating from Kolkata to Tarapith and Purulia will have more seating capacity. It is learnt that eight-seater helicopters will operate between these places. It may be mentioned that soon after coming to power Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had given stress on air-connectivity between all the districts. Initiatives were also taken to construct helipads in almost all districts.The Mamata Banerjee government has ensured flight services in Cooch Behar. The same in Bagdogra and Andal has also improved. The work to improve infrastructure of Malda and Balurghat airports is nearing completion. Moreover, many steps have also been taken to develop the Chharra Airstrip in Purulia.

Both include Alexa voice remotes while the All-New Fire TV also supports 4K Ultra HD video.In the US the Fire TV Basic, which does not include Alexa voice remote, currently costs US$49.99. In new markets like France and Spain it is now selling for €59.99 – or at a reduced price of €39.99 with Amazon Prime.Amazon took on Netflix by launching Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories around the world last December.
