Gromit Unleashed 2 coming to Ashton Gate

first_imgFrom July 2nd until September 2nd, 67 sculptures of Nick Park’s Academy Award®-winning characters Wallace, Gromit and Feathers McGraw will hit the streets of Bristol and the surrounding area to raise money for Bristol Children’s Hospital.Gromit Unleashed 2 is the third sculpture trail from The Grand Appeal in partnership with Aardman. Its two previous trails, Gromit Unleashed and Shaun in the City, raised over £6 million for Bristol Children’s Hospital helping the charity to fund pioneering, life-saving equipment and research, free family accommodation and support, music, arts and play programmes and much more.The world-class surroundings of Ashton Gate Stadium – home to Bristol City and Bristol Bears – is included on the trail and open to members of the public for free.Bristol Sport chairman Jon Lansdown said: “Gromit Unleashed 2 showcases Bristol’s reputation as an internationally renowned hub for creativity.
